Starting in 2012, Montgomery Motor Speedway will implement a new point system offering a bigger bonus to winning drivers, drivers leading laps, drivers leading the most laps, and qualifying points. The system will be as follows.
Feature Race

- 16
- 13
- 10 through last
Drivers who enter the event, but are unable to start the feature will receive 5 points.
Bonus Points for Feature Races
- Race Winner = 3 Points
- Most Laps Led = 2 Points
- Lead 1 Lap = 1 Point
Points will also be awarded for qualifying as follows.

Not all divisions will qualify at every event. If your division does not qualify, no qualifying points will be awarded, and only feature points will be used for that event. You must make an attempt to qualify to be awarded qualifying points.
The point system change will take effect on all divisions, including the Show Me the Money Series.
