Racing excitement is just TWO DAYS AWAY at Montgomery Motor Speedway.   Saturday night, September 1, 2012 catch pole qualifying for Sunday's Super Late Model 150, as well as qualifying for all local divisions.   The main event of the evening will be a special 35 lap, $300 to win Buzz feature with potential bonus $$$ on the line for out of town drivers sponsored by F&E Sportswear and Wood Brother's Auto Sales. It is possible for a non MMS regular in the Buzz division to come in and take home $500 if they can win!!! (To be eligible for bonus, driver must have raced in no more than 1 race in any division in 2012 at MMS)   The Buzz division has just two points races left in their season. This Saturday's 35 lapper, and September 15's feature during Alabama 200 weekend. Joshua Wood and Floyd Brown are currently TIED in the standings with 232 points each with two races remaining. Roger Wood Jr is just 23 points back in third, with Matthew Robbins also in the hunt, 13 points behind Wood in fourth.   Also on Saturday night, the Street Stock division championship will be decided in Twin 20 lap features, with full points for each feature. Joe Bethea Jr. holds a 37 point advantage over Daniel Jacks in the championship standings, with defending champion Billy Ammons just two markers behind Jacks in third. Who will walk away with the crown this Saturday night?   The Mini-Mod division championship is tightening up as well. The Mini-Mods will race in Twin 15 lap races this Saturday night with full points in each feature. The championship will be decided on September 15 during Alabama 200 weekend. Coming in to this weekend, Joel Collier holds a 34 point advantage over Chris Landers. Justin Nix is 15 points behind Landers in third.   The Super Stock/Truck division will also be in action with a 20 lap feature race. Points are not being tabulated in this division, since combining the classes mid-season.   Sunday afternoon kicks off with an on-track autograph session at 1:00pm. It is the perfect chance for fans to come meet their favorite drivers, chat with them, and get autographs. Fans will get the opportunity to meet all of the Super Late Model drivers, including NASCAR driver Steven Wallace, three-time defending Alabama 200 champion Augie Grill, defending Show Me the Money Series champion, and current championship points leader Hunter Robbins, 2012 Show Me the Money race winner Mike Garvey, former NASCAR Truck Series Rookie of the Year Willie Allen, John Bolen, Brandon Odom, Spencer Davis, Chris Serio, Steven Nasse, John Boy Wilkinson, Bubba Pollard, and more.   The Super Late Model 150 will go green at 2:00pm on Sunday with 150 GREEN FLAG laps of racing action. Augie Grill has won the last two Super Late Model races at MMS, in 2009 and 2010. Can he do it again? Come out to Montgomery Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon to see for yourself!   Bring your ticket stubs and pit passes from the August 18 rainout, as they will be honored at their original value.   Grandstand admission for each day (Saturday & Sunday) is $15 adults, $10 senior/military, $5 children 6-12, 5 and under are FREE. We will have two-day grandstand tickets available for just $25 adults, $18 senior/military, $8 children 6-12. Pit passes will be $30 each day.   Don't forget about open practice Friday evening. Gates will open at 3:00pm with practice running from 4:00pm until 9:00pm. Pit passes for Friday are just $15/person, and there is no additional charge for cars.
