NASCAR Driver Steven Wallace Files Entry for Montgomery SLM Race
(Montgomery, AL) – Officials from Montgomery Motor Speedway are proud to announce the latest entry for the Labor Day Weekend Super Late Model race at the famed half-mile.
NASCAR driver, Steven Wallace has filed his entry for the 150-lap spectacle. Wallace is no stranger to Super Late Model racing, as he is the 2004 Snowball Derby Champion. It will, however, be his first time at Montgomery Motor Speedway.
"This will be my first time ever at Montgomery.” said Wallace, “I'm really excited about it and I hear it’s a really cool race track and repaved just a couple years ago so the track is real fast. There is a lot of good competition there. From what I've heard it can be a difficult track to get a handle on so I'm really looking forward to the challenge we are going to be faced with."
Wallace joins an entry list that includes Steven Nasse, Mike Garvey, Augie Grill, Brandon Odom, Logan Boyett, John Boy Wilkinson, Ken McFarland and more.
Other expected entries include two-time Snowball Derby, Rattler 250, and Alabama 200 champion Augie Grill, and Show Me the Money Series regulars John Bolen, Chris Serio, Hunter Robbins, and many many more.
As the list continues to grow, so does the excitement.
Plenty of local division action is slated for Saturday night, September 1, 2012.
