Chris Landers won the Mini-Mod division championship in 2011 driving this No. 9 machine.
(Montgomery, AL) – The Mini-Mod division, which has been absent thus far in the 2012 season, will be making it's return to Montgomery Motor Speedway on May 12. The division's defending champion, Chris Landers will be on hand in the first race of the season for the Mini-Mods, and will attempt to defend his crown.
Also expected to compete are Joel Collier, Jimmy Hudson, and Steve Looney, all of whom competed at the Montgomery half-mile last season. Nick Doehring plans to make his return to Montgomery on May 12 as well in his Mini-Mod. Also expected to race are Ashley Bridgmon, and Ty Armstrong. With over two weeks until this exciting race for the Mini-Mod division, more entries are expected.
The Mini-Mods will join the card along with the Show Me the Money Series Rheem 100 for the Pro Late Models, as well as The Rolling Thunder Modified Series making their first trip to MMS. Also on the schedule for May 12 are the Street Stocks and Buzz.
