Show Me the Money Series (Pro Late Models)
The Show Me the Money Series will use a (2) lap time trial qualification
in all events. The maximum starting field is 36 cars. If more than 36
cars attempt to make the race, the field will be set as follows.
Positions 1-28 will be locked in from time trials
Positions 29,30,31 will be awarded to the top three finishers in a 15
lap last chance race.
Positions 32-35 will be awarded to the highest (4) drivers in the 2012
Show Me the Money Series Championship Standings that have not already
qualified their way into the race. For the first race of 2012, we will
use the 2011 standings. If any of these provisionals are not used, we
will revert back to the next fastest from time trials that are not in to
fill these spots.
Position 36 will be reserved for the most recent past champion of the
Show Me the Money Series, if not already qualified for the event. If
this provisional is not used, the next fastest from time trials that is
not already qualified will start 36th.
*The fastest qualifier will roll a die for inversion, regardless of the
size of the field. The die will be numbered 3,4,5,6,7,8.
*In the event time trials are rained out, or otherwise cancelled, the
lineup will be set on 2012 Show Me the Money Series Championship
Standings. The current championship leader will roll the die for
inversion. The die will be numbered 3,4,5,6,7,8. Anyone who is not in
the current points will start behind those who do have points, in the
order that they registered with scoring.
LOCAL DIVISIONS
All divisions will start based on 2012 championship standings, unless
that division is scheduled to qualify for the event. At each racing
event, 1-3 divisions will qualify. Every division will get the chance to
qualify at least (2) times during the 2012 season.
If qualifying: The fastest qualifier will roll the die for inversion.
The die will be numbered 3,4,5,6,7,8.
If starting on points: The current point leader will roll the die for
inversion.The die will be numbered 3,4,5,6,7,8. Anyone that does not
currently have points will start behind those that do, in the order they
register with scoring.
If your division is not qualifying, and has not yet held a points race,
you will start on random draw.
*Remember… qualifying points are awarded for ALL divisions in 2012.
