Robbins puts two SMM wins towards ’11 championship

Hunter Robbins Hoists the 2011 Show Me the Money Series Championship Trophy during the Alabama 200 Weekend.
MONTGOMERY, AL (November 03, 2011) -- Hunter Robbins has won a race in each of the three Show Me the Money seasons to date. However, the full-time Auburn Univrsity student stepped it up a notch in 2011.
Robbins claimed victory twice at the Alabama half-mile, en route to his first SMM championship. He joins fellow Alabama racers Augie Grill and John Bolen as the series' champions, keeping the tradition of shutting out a strong field of contenders from Texas, Georgia, and other states.
Robbins drove into the record books on the strength of a 4.5 average finish. His name is only found outside of the top ten once on official results - a 13th-place result on June 04.
The title came down to the final event - The Alabama 200 - with Robbins barely holding off Texan Jason Young. Rounding out the year with one less win, one less top five and one more DNF (2), Young was no match for Robbins when the final standings were tallied.
